Based on this business’s reviews, I paid them a visit to inquire about having a 2” extender made from an existing rope bracelet and have a round, diamond charm removed from that bracelet to convert to a pendant for an existing necklace. I asked to speak to the jeweler when I entered the showroom. The young lady at the counter said she could help me. As soon as I showed her my slide bracelet (adorned with diamond, ruby, and sapphire slide charms, she replied by saying “yeah, that’s “chunky” and out of style”. I’m sorry if you are barely older than a fetus and can’t recognize nice jewelry, but have better customer service skills, please. Finally, after I had to explain to her what a 2” extender is, she quickly informed me it would cost $300 just for the clasp and jeweler’s time. Are you kidding me???? I didn’t roll off the turnip truck. Buyer beware…shop around because this place is highway robbery.

Bought my fiancé’s engagement ring here, they were so nice and worked very well with me! I had taken my engagement ring to another jeweler because my stone was loose and they assured me it was fine, but at Stan Johnson they tightened my stone and let me know an issues I had with my prongs and how to fix them. I will definitely take all of my business here from now on!!

I cannot say enough good things about this place!! I came in with my boyfriend (now fiancee) and we felt really defeated and like other places were taking advantage of us since we were looking at engagement rings. We got a better and bigger diamond for around 20-40% less than the big retailers in Augusta. It's my absolute dream ring. They give you their expert advice and always contact you back.
