I always love visiting 2nd & Charles. They have some really cool, old stuff. This location didn't disappoint. I found a really cool Star Trek TNG Pez set.

I went in to look at pokemon cards and warrior cat books but was under the impression that the closing manager was extremely mad at me and very pushy with randomly asking if I need anything. I'm not sure what I did to receive that kind of attitude but it was extremely hurtful to me. As someone on the autism spectrum I appreciate direct conversation so I don't understand when you approach me and say "or however long you plan to look at pokemon cards" that's half of a conversation and I don't know what you ment by that snippy comment. I'm sorry if me being there was so upseting but you don't have to be passive aggressive to the point where you're making your customers not want go back if you are there. The good part of going in was the guy who helped checked me out and was so very sweet and actually made me feel welcomed.

So disappointing, I thought it'd be a good treasure hunting place, vintage and used books, history being preserved but NO, it's tons of new books, higher prices. When I asked she said they had some used but nothing usually over 5 years old. Definitely wouldn't return.
