Studio 6 Extended Stay - Augusta, GA - Fort Gordon

The front desk staff was friendly, especially Cat and Precious, and some of the housekeeping staff and maintenance guys were nice as well. Unfortunately, the room itself was in terrible condition. There were gaps around the front door, the smoke detector had no battery, the toilet wouldn’t flush correctly, and the fridge was old, rusted, and made loud noises. I even found a crack pipe in a cupboard after being told by the GM that the room had been “deep cleaned,” which was clearly not true. There was dog mess everywhere on the property, and I witnessed drug deals during my stay. Some guests had no regard for others, and it was often very noisy. The room was cheap, and honestly you get what you pay for, but the bed was absolutely horrible and extremely uncomfortable. I’m surprised there were no bed bugs. I would not recommend staying here unless you have absolutely no other choice. The rooms seriously need remodeling and upgrades — if that ever happens, I might consider staying again.

This Motel 6 on Wrightsboro Road is hands down the worst place I have ever stayed, and I would not recommend it to anyone, not even in an emergency. From the moment you arrive, you can tell this property is run down, poorly managed, and completely neglected. The rooms are disgusting. The floors looked like they hadn’t been mopped in months, stains everywhere, and an overall smell that made me question whether the room had been cleaned at all. The bed sheets looked old and questionable, the pillows were flat and uncomfortable, and the mattress felt like it had been slept on for years. I did not feel comfortable sleeping there whatsoever. The bathroom was even worse. There was grime around the tub and sink, rust stains, and the toilet looked like it hadn’t been properly sanitized. The towels were thin, worn out, and did not look fresh. Hot water was inconsistent, and water pressure was terrible. Customer service was nonexistent. The front desk staff acted like helping guests was a burden. No sense of professionalism, no concern for complaints, and absolutely no effort to resolve issues. When problems were mentioned, they were brushed off or ignored entirely.Safety is a serious concern at this location. There was constant noise, people hanging around outside the rooms at all hours, loud arguments, and activity that made me feel extremely uncomfortable. This is not a family-friendly place, and I did not feel secure staying there.The overall condition of the property is sad and embarrassing. Broken fixtures, peeling paint, dirty stairwells, trash around the building—clearly maintenance is not a priority here. This place gives Motel 6 a bad name.Save your money and your peace of mind. Spend a few extra dollars and stay anywhere else. This location is dirty, unsafe, poorly managed, and absolutely not worth it. I regret staying here and would never return.

this is by far the worst motel i have ever been to, i’m sure a homeless shelter is better than this. The staff is rude, the housekeeping only stopped by like 3 times out of the couple of months i’ve been there, you’re never gonna have a set price on your room so don’t try to make a budget plan if you wanna stay here, you’ll end up going broke because they are always switching the prices. Vending machines have been sold out for over a month, you can never get in contact with the front office even tho it’s multiple people who be up there. The staff is lazy and inconsiderate. i’ve only received abt 2 towels since i’ve been there, they never brought us new sheets for the bed. The only good thing abt the motel is the location. overall this place sucks pls do more research or find somewhere better don’t waste your time.
