Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Augusta at I-20, GA

I received a call three hours before check-in to advise the room I booked which was a 1 bedroom queen suite was unavailable, but a regular double was available. Upon arrival, I was informed I would be paying the same price for a downgraded room which I feel is unreasonable. I'm not receiving what I book. So why am I being charged the same amount, but receiving less. The pool was out of service, ATM out of order, and all of the gym equipment was non functional. The bathroom was not cleaned either. In addition to the poor condition of the hotel, approximately four pre-teen to early teen girls were running through the halls bumping into people. They would apologize and continue the behavior which leads me to believe their apology was not sincere. The children unruly behavior is allowed because they are locals, and their parents typically book a room for the girls to hangout. I would never book here again due to the lack of amenities promoted and unruly teens that are given full reign of the hotel. Guests should be able to enjoy their stay without unattended adolescent causing chaos and confusion in the lobby and hallways.

The hotel is run down, the rooms aren’t clean, the towels had black marks from previous people, the shower pressure doesn’t exist. The hotel is covered in dirt and marks and smells highly of weed. Also not only was it $300 a night they hold an additional $150 on your account for up to a week. Not worth the stay and for the price you would think it would be nice. Felt gross staying there.

This place has a MAJOR bed bug infestation! Not even kidding, not even trying to bash the establishment. This place has a SEVERE BED BUG INFESTATION. ON ALL FLOORS! I moved 3 rooms, all which had bed bugs. The first room in which I discovered them, hasn’t even been properly treated. (102) They just made the room up like it was nothing. Room 102 is heavily infested. Particularly the bed closest to the bathroom. These bed bugs will get into your belongings so IF YOU DO decide to stay, place your belongings in a plastic bag and place it in the tub like I had to do my last night staying here. I’ll still have to rid majority of my clothes out of fear of carrying them somewhere else. There were so many bed bugs, the small babies were crawling from my luggage. 🤢 Housekeeping and management are well aware of this bed bug issue. This is why they have no reaction when you provide concrete evidence of the infestation. In fact, most of the housekeepers live here. So that should tell you a lot. There are many permanent residents. Lastly, the final room they moved me to even had baby roaches crawling from crevices. Corey didn’t even comp my stay. I believe he knew they’ve had bed bugs for some time now. He will rather lose a potential customer, then handle the bed bug issue. Yes, the rates may be cheap, yes the area may be decent– but please book with CAUTION. Or you WILL 100% BE LEAVING WITH EXTRA GUEST!!! They need to do a thorough treatment for this infestation before (if not yet) ALL of their rooms are infested. (which sadly, I believe is already the case!) Rooms for sure that have them 102, 305!!!! With 102 being the worst I had ever seen in my life. Do not allow them to give you 102!!!!
