Monterrey Restaurant

We absolutely loved this spot! The parking lot looked full so we worried about seating but they accommodated us immediately. We placed our orders and food/drinks/appetizers were nearly immediate! I rarely see service that fast! We were passing through from Maryland and were blown away by the hospitality, quality of service, and prices. The staff was so amazing, from being greeted at the door, to the servers, and even to the staffer clearing tables, they were so welcoming and attentive! Definitely Not the service you find more north 🫣 We would definitely recommend this location and hope to visit it again! Bariga llena, corazón contento 🥰

I'm sorry to say that both of our meals were not up to our standards. We may be too picky, coming from an area that has great Mexican food. When I cut into my enchilada, it was dry with no cheese and a little bit of green sauce on top. My husband's Chili Verde was large chunks of pork, to big to eat or wrap in a tortilla with the same sauce. Great service though!

Monterrey has some of the best Mexican food in this area. The quality is superb and everything is so fresh and cooked to order. The shrimp are cooked to perfection and they serve the large shrimp, not the small salad shrimp with each order. The zucchini and squash is also one of my favorites. If you want some good quality Mexican food , you won’t go wrong by Selecting Monterrey’s Mexican Restaurant on Washington Road!! Oh let me not forget the Margaritas are on point for those that need a little something extra to drink. Goota love it, I do!!
