Beamie's At the River

We stopped in to grab some great Peel Em and Eat Um shrimp and grab a couple of adult beverages. Overall, the food, drinks, and service were great and we had exactly the experience we were looking for. Highly recommended!

Stopped off a suggestion. Happy hour menu offered more than enough choices and can be shared. The steamed shrimp were delicious. We tried the Beamie’s cocktail - very sweet but delicious. The sweet tea is sweet tea. Had the baskets - grilled and friend flounder, popcorn shrimp, rice, hush puppy’s snd coke slaw ( not the best)- it needed more flavor.

I had an excellent experience at Beamie’s in Augusta! I started with oysters on the half shell—fresh, briny, and perfectly chilled. From there, I tried a flight of their three soups, each one unique and full of flavor. The oyster Po’ Boy with fries was a real highlight—crispy, well-seasoned, and very generous on the oysters. To wash it all down, I enjoyed a perfectly icy cold No Jacket Required, a great local beer that paired beautifully with the meal. A big shout-out to Chase for his friendly and attentive service—he really made me feel welcome. And compliments to Ethan in the kitchen for turning out such consistently great food. Between the quality of the meal and the hospitality, Beamie’s is definitely a place I’d recommend and will be coming back to.
